Highlights of May 21 Business Meeting

- We did not have a quorum at the meeting.
- Madonna Learning Center's Field Day went great.
- Peter McCann asked for volunteers for the Holy Rosary Respect Life Committee's pro-life information booth at the Memphis Italian Festival.
- Peter is making CDs of Pam Stenzel's talk "Sex Has a Price Tag". He asked for donations of CDs and labels
- Our pro-life bus bench ad is paid through June. The council will pick up the cost for July. Donations are needed for the months after that.
- The Holy Rosary Golf Tournament is Friday, June 29. Proceeds will go toward the Youth Group's trip to Australia for World Youth Day.
- The council will be purchasing a set of altar server award certificates for Fr. Martell
- Patrick Hirtz, the seminarian who is spending the summer at Holy Rosary, noted that the Diocese currently has 15 seminarians, and 4 more men have been approved to enter seminary. 11 more applications are currently in front of Bishop Steib. Patrick talked about the need to raise money for an emergency use fund to help the seminarians, possibly holding a dinner in August as a fundraiser.
- Our next parish breakfast at Holy Rosary will be a fundraiser for the seminarian emergency fund.
- Greg Krog is getting estimates from printers for the booklet of eucharistic prayers he and Stephen Wright have put together.
- Prayers were offered for Sr. Marilyn Terwilliger and Jody Bond.
