Jay Lanigan

So long my Friend and save a seat for me.

I always sought out Jay for his Humility. Such a nice guy big smile and willing
to help whenever possible. You meet people along this journey that you remember and jay was one of those that I wish I could have been just like.

To all my Bernard Friends and classmates and to Lynn and the Lanigan family.

Big prayers from Alabama

Goodbye Jay

Knights of Columbus are Catholic gentlemen committed to the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity, patriotism, and defense of the priesthood. Jay demonstrated all these ideals from his early days as a college student until the end. He was a true gentleman.
Although seperated by miles for years, you remained my friend and our occassional telephone conversations were uplifting.
Jay, we don't grieve for you because we know that you are at peace no more suffering. We grieve, for Lynn, your family and ourselves because we must wait to see you again.
Send the angels to guide us. Your legacy on earth will remain and I expect you to start a new legacy in Heaven.

God bless & good bye,
Ed Tracy

Jay

The first time I met Jay was on that cold winter day coming to St. Bernard and arriving with my friend Ralph Giangrandi. My first impression was what a big guy and what a big smile. His laughter and his positive outlook I will always remember. His friendship and his big heart I will truly miss. My only regret is that we all didn't get together again after our 25th re-union. My thoughts and prayers are with Lynn and the Lanigan family..........Mike Callahan

Jay

I regret not seeing Jay and Lynn on a regular basis over the years. He was larger than life in more ways than one-big guy, big smile and the heart of a large leprechaun. Jay was a good friend and a wonderful man who touched all of us in so many ways. Lynn, Betty and I send our prayers and thoughts to you at this very difficult time. Fondly, Jack and Betty Egan
