December Parish Breakfast
Submitted by kkrog on October 22, 2007 - 6:36am.
For the december parish breakfast I was going to propose that we do as a gift to the parish, take donations only and also invite people to bring food. IE the pancakes, sausage and drinks are on us and everything else is potluck. I've discussed this with gary, mark and scott and they like the idea. What does everyone else think. I figure since we don't want to have a big discussion at the next meeting lets get it out of the way now so we can just vote.
In any event mark you still gonna get the day-the 3rd or the 10th or probably the best 2 days., and I'll be glad to a get flyers to the church and all that and ask them to announce etc...
I've attached a quick mock flyer.

Kenneth:
By watching your posting vila email, it was quite apparent that you were very concern that this breakfast whent off without any mistakes.
I can assure you, since you had to leave early because of sickness, that everything went just fine.
Peter McCann as you know, was Santa. I believe he had more fun than the children, in fact I know he did!
There was many pictures made that will be sent out for all to view.
I personally was collecting the money (donations) and was trying to keep a head count to see how we stood compared to our last breakfast. I am not as good as Mark Romer, I could not keep up counting heads and thanking patrons at the same time.
I believe the turn out was about the same as the others, although I believe we might think about accepting donations instead of charging per head.
We collected 500. and I believe our expenses were around $ 150. So it turn out very well, in fact this was the highest gross revenues collected. I believe???
Your brother, Greg has got down the nack of fliping flatjacks. Then there is Adam and Richard always making sure that everything was on time and ready to go.
The new brother knights, Daniel and David worked very hard.
Vivat Jesus

Thanks
I appreciate the update.
