Help Requested for Widow and Family

We have received a request from Council 12598 in Fayetteville for help for the widow and family of Brother Knight Tom Faircloth.  The family are in a difficult situation because of the medical bills incurred during Brother Faircloth's illness and ongoing with Mrs. Faircloth's current cancer treatment.  The text of the request is given below:

Quote:

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of one of our finest Knights, Mr. Tom Faircloth. Tom was the Financial Secretary for our council and was extremely dedicated to our council and the Knights of Columbus Organization as a whole.

Though a Knight's death is always a sad event, the reason I am writing about Tom's death is because of the difficult financial situation his family finds themselves in.  Tom's illness was long and protracted, so he alone incurred a great many medical bills.  Then, about three months ago, his wife, Carol, who was our parish's D.R.E. for a time until she had to take care of Tom full-time, was diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing a difficult bout with chemotherapy.  As a result, we have done for them what we can, but their situation is desperate.

Thus, I humbly ask that if you can donate any amount at all for the family of this fallen brother, it would be greatly appreciated.  You can send donations to:

Thank you for considering this matter, and any help at all is tremendously appreciated!
