Memorial Knights Mass October 15

We have received permission from Father Martell for the 12:15 Mass on October 15 to be a Knights Mass. We would like every Knight to bring his family to this mass, so we can sit together as a group. Also, We want every lay minister (lector, extraordinary minister of Holy Communion, usher, etc.) to be a Knight. This will make a public display of our involvement in the Church. The Mass will be offered in memory of our deceased Brothers.

Mass will be followed by lunch in the cafeteria. This lunch will be open to everyone, and donations will be taken to cover the cost.

This will be used as a recruiting tool for our council. We need to have Knights to man information tables in front of the church building and in the parking lot, as well as in the cafeteria to talk to prospects. We are planning a First Degree on October 23, the Monday after our October meeting.

We're going to need a lot of manpower to pull this off. Right now, we're thinking smoked chicken for the main course, so we'll need some guys on Saturday the 14th to man the grill. We'll also need people in the kitchen on Sunday, as well as Knights to fill the lay minister positions for the Mass. Don't be shy. Step up and volunteer!
