We have six stores lined up for Saturday, November 10. We need lots of volunteers. At two shifts per store, and two to four people to properly man each shift, that's 24 to 48 people to do this right. Bring family, friends, kids (this is good for service hours).

The Memphis Italian Festival needs volunteers. Work one shift, and you get free admission for the day. Work two shifts, and you get a free T-shirt.

The board of directors for K.C. Homes of Memphis Area is inviting all Knights to come to a reception at the home in Bartlett in honor of Mike Drew. They are also requesting a Fourth Degree honor guard at this event. The home is at 3800 Brunswick Road (click here for map). Below is the text of the letter we received from them:

We at the K.C. Homes of Memphis Area, Inc. invite you to the home serving the Mentally Retarded to honor Mike Drew who served on the board of directors from its groundbreaking. Mike will be greatly missed because of his dedication to the Knights and this home. We hope you and the Knights at your council can join us for snacks and drinks to honor Mike. We are requesting the honor guards to attend too.

The council's first Easter egg hunt at Holy Rosary went very well. A lot of kids participated, and they seemed to be having a great time. Congratulations to John Haas for coordinating the event. Thank you to everyone who helped stuff eggs, scatter eggs, supervise the children, etc.
